The Crisis Protection Network, Zurich, is pleased to welcome Peter Smit, PC&R, Netherlands, and Thom Weidlich, PRCG Haggerty, USA, as new members.
Peter Smit is a seasoned crisis communications expert who has worked for some of the largest multinational, publicly traded corporations in the Netherlands and abroad. He has more than 25 years of experience in Reputation Management. A particular specialty of his is crisis preparedness, workshops and crisis simulations.
Based in New York, Thom Weidlich, PRCG Haggerty, USA, has also joined CPN. Thom is a former journalist who worked for Bloomberg News and The National Law Journal, and wrote for the New York Times and other media outlets. He specializes in litigation communications, crisis management and media-relations strategy. Thom is also the chief content officer for Crisis Response Pro, a software that provides tools, templates and resources for rapid collaboration and response for communications teams.
